Carol Salter has over 35 years of experience in the field of disability services and employment programs. Carol currently serves as the Executive Director of Banchero Disability Partners, where they empower adults with developmental disabilities and promotes equitable civil rights. Prior to this, Carol was the President/CEO of Easterseals Oregon from 2019 to 2022. From 2003 to 2019, they held the position of Assistant VP Workforce Solutions at Easterseals, providing technical assistance and training for workforce development programs. Carol also served as the President/CEO of CAREERS, Inc. from 2003 to 2006 and as the Chief Operating Officer of IAM CARES from 1987 to 2003, overseeing various employment services for individuals with disabilities. Carol holds a Masters of Education in Transitional Services for Youth with Autism from George Washington University.
Carol Salter holds a Master's degree in Education and Human Development, with a specialization in Secondary Transition Services, from The George Washington University, completed in 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in International Business Administration from American InterContinental University in 2011. In 1990, they obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration from South Seattle College. Additionally, Carol has a certification as a Certified Employment Support Specialist (CESP) from APSE - Association of People Supporting EmploymentFirst.
