Virgílio Monteiro

Virgílio Monteiro serves as the Chefe do Departamento de Inovação e Transformação at BAI - Banco Angolano de Investimentos since November 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing digital transformation strategies and initiatives. Prior experience includes leading the Mobile Money department, managing project development, and advising on strategic planning for the bank. In addition to roles at BAI, Virgílio is a National Mentor for SEED SPOT in the USA, supporting early-stage entrepreneurs, and holds the position of Founder & Board Advisor at Andorinha Tecnologia. Education encompasses a Mandela Washington Fellowship focused on Leadership in Business & Entrepreneurship, ongoing studies in Banking and Insurance management, and a background in IT management.
