Arthur Sargo has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Arthur began their career at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. in 1993, where they worked as a Middle Market & SMEs Team Leader and Commercial Manager until 2005. After that, they joined Alfa as a Corporate Banking Officer in 2005 and later became a Sr Officer - Corporate Banking in the Rio/Northeast Region. In 2009, they moved to Banco Bmg, where they held various roles including Sr Banker, Regional Head of Corporate in the Rio, Minas & South Region, and currently serves as the Head of Wholesale Banking | Corporate (CIB) & Middle Market. In this position, they are responsible for strategy and management of all Corporate & Investment Banking and Middle Market activities in Brazil, providing specialized lending, corporate finance, debt market solutions, sustainable finance, and trade & treasury services.
Arthur Sargo has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Centro Universitário UniCarioca, which they obtained from 1998 to 2002. Arthur also holds a Master's degree in Economics from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, which they completed from 2005 to 2006. In addition, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business at FGV from 2003 to 2004. Arthur furthered their education with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from FGV from 2007 to 2008. Later, they attended the University of Chicago in 2012 to complete a Finance & Investment Strategies program. Arthur also studied Leadership and Coaching at Harvard University in 2017. Most recently, in 2021, they enrolled at Saint Paul Escola de Negócios for a degree in Investment Banking with a focus on Securities.
