Roberto Simões

Roberto Simões has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Roberto most recently served as the Managing Director at Banco Bmg since December 2020. Prior to that, they were the Senior Managing Director at HAITONG from September 2015 to December 2020. Before HAITONG, they worked at Espírito Santo Investment Bank (BESI) as the Executive Director - Head of Treasury & Markets from April 2012 to September 2015, and as the Head Trader from May 2005 to April 2012. Roberto also held positions at MUFG as the Senior Manager - Asset Management from May 2003 to May 2005, at Brasilprev Seguros e Previdência S.A as the VP - Asset Management from May 2002 to May 2003, at Banco Alfa de Investimento as the Head of Asset Management from November 1998 to August 2001, and at Banco Real de Investimentos S.A. as the Head of Asset Management from April 1998 to October 1998 and as the Product Manager from September 1995 to March 1998.

Roberto Simões obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, completing their education from 1991 to 1995. Later, from 2002 to 2004, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance at Ibmec.
