Luis M. Cifuentes Larrain

Luis M. Cifuentes Larrain is currently the Chief Compliance Officer at Bradesco. Prior to this, they held the position of CCO at Bladex Asset Management from November 2010 to March 2015. Luis was also the VP Head of AML Transaction Surveillance Unit at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation from July 2009 to November 2010. Before that, they were the First VP Compliance Officer at Banco de Chile, New York Branch from August 2006 to November 2008.

Cifuentes Larrain started their career in banking at Citigroup in March 2005 as a KYC-AML Quality Assurance Officer in the Private Banking sector. Luis then moved to Jefferson Wells in December 2001 as a Project Manager for a BSA Compliance Project. In November 2008, they became a Senior Consultant at Svenska Handelsbanken, NY Branch. Luis then took on the role of Deputy Project Manager/Business Analyst at BANCO ATLANTICO S.A., New York in April 2001. Luis's final position before their current one was as an OandM at BNP Paribas from June 1997 to September 2000.

Luis M. Cifuentes Larrain has a degree in accounting from Kean University and a Certified Compliance and Regulatory Professional certification from Pace University - Lubin School of Business. Luis also has a Risk Management for Corporate Leaders degree from Harvard Business School.
