David Salamanca Rojas

David Salamanca possesses extensive experience in financial regulation, consulting, and institutional governance in Colombia. Currently serving as an associated researcher at Fedesarrollo and a board member at Banco de Bogotá since May 2023, David's previous roles include serving on the Board of Directors for the Autoregulator of the Securities Market of Colombia and as a consultant for the International Finance Corporation. David has held various leadership positions, including Director General at the Unidad de Regulación Financiera and Director of Financial Regulation at the Ministry of Finance. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration and an MBA from prestigious institutions such as Harvard Kennedy School and The Wharton School, alongside a Master's degree in Economics from Universidad de Los Andes. Recently, David has pursued further studies in Climate Change and Sustainable Finance at EDHEC Business School and Mines Paris - PSL.
