Ana Lucrecia Tovar de Zarak

Ana Lucrecia Tovar de Zarak is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Since August 2019, Ana has served as the Founder and Managing Partner of Virtù Atelier Legal. Additionally, Ana has held the position of Directora on the Board of Directors of Banco General and its subsidiaries since October 2019. In March 2022, Ana became Directora Grupo 14 and Secretaria of the Board of Directors at the Cámara de Comercio, Industrias y Agricultura de Panamá. As a Fellow of the Central America Leadership Initiative at The Aspen Institute since November 2013, Ana contributes to regional leadership development. Previous roles include Director and President of the Board at the Superintendencia del Mercado de Valores de Panamá, as well as Director on the Board at the Superintendencia de Bancos de Panamá from 2013 to 2019. Ana also served as a Partner at Dentons Muñoz and held positions at FABREGA MOLINO and Citi, where Ana was Head of Legal Compliance. Ana holds an LL.M. in International Business Law - Banking and Finance from American University and a Licenciatura in Derecho y Ciencias Políticas from Universidad Católica Santa María La Antigua.
