Karim Young

Karim Young has extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as Vice President of Assets at Banco General since March 2005, managing a portfolio of USD 500 million and leading a team of seven. Previously, as Assistant Vice President at BankBoston from February 2000 to March 2005, Karim developed the commercial sector in Zona Libre de Colón, growing the client base significantly from 5 to 40 clients. Karim's career began at HSBC, where tenure lasted from February 1995 to February 2000, holding roles such as Financial Institutions Credit Analyst and Credit Manager. Karim holds a Master of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Universidad Católica Santa María La Antigua.
