Lucía Evangelista Gallo

Lucía Evangelista Gallo is an experienced algorithmic trader and data scientist currently working at Banco Hipotecario since April 2022, where responsibilities include the development of predictive models and client segmentation analysis, as well as presenting results to business teams. Previously, Lucía served as a data scientist at Practia Global from July 2021 to April 2022 and worked as a teaching assistant for Physics 1 at the Facultad de Ciencias Exactas y Naturales, UBA in 2019. Additionally, Lucía was an undergraduate student researcher at the Instituto de Física del Plasma (INFIP), UBA-CONICET, focusing on the growth and characterization of amorphous carbon films to enhance the properties of polymer substrates. Lucía holds a degree in Quantitative Finance from Universidad del CEMA (2023) and a Licenciatura en Ciencias Físicas from the University of Buenos Aires (2013-2022).
