John Rodriguez

John Rodriguez serves as the General Manager at BICSA (Banco Internacional de Costa Rica) since May 2024, focusing on regional strategy development to enhance commercial sales and operational efficiency through a comprehensive product suite. Prior experience includes senior leadership roles at Visa, where responsibilities included overseeing domestic and cross-border payment solutions as well as leading specialized sales for banks and fintechs. Rodriguez also held managing director positions at EIA Global and served as Head of FIG Americas at Barclays. Extensive banking expertise includes managing commercial and financial institution client relations at HSBC, FIBA Bankers, Wells Fargo, and Wachovia Corp. Educational credentials include a diploma from the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Georgetown University and a B.A. in Business Administration from Rutgers University.
