Jorge Barros Luis

Jorge Barros Luis is a seasoned finance professional and academic with a diverse background in both education and industry. Currently serving as a Professor Associado Convidado de Finanças at ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management since September 2004, Jorge also holds the position of Managing Director at Banco Montepio since January 2019. Previously, Jorge was the Chairman and CEO of Montepio Credito from April 2014 to May 2017, specializing in leasing and consumer and car finance. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Financial Economics from the University of York, an AMP in Business from Harvard Business School, and both a Mestrado and Licenciatura from ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management.
