Ancha Omar has extensive experience in business development, procurement, and facilities management, currently serving as the Commercial and Marketing Head at BNI - Banco Nacional de Investimento since March 2013, following roles as Business Development Manager and Procurement & Facilities Manager. Prior experience includes work as a Senior Procurement and Facilities Specialist at Banco Nacional de Investimento (Grupo Caixa Geral de Depósitos) from March 2011 to March 2013, and as a Performance Improvement Manager at Barclays Bank Mozambique, where responsibilities included LEAN project implementation and managing Service Level Agreements. Ancha Omar began a career at BHP Billiton as a Treasurer Accountant and Coordinator of Administration and Facilities from February 2005 to February 2009. Educational credentials include an MBA from the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business, an International Procurement Certificate from IAPM, a Postgraduate Degree in Finance Management from the University of South Africa, and an Honours in Business Management from ISCTEM.
