Carlos Eduardo Guimarães

Carlos Eduardo Guimarães has over 25 years of experience in the banking industry. Carlos began their career as an intern at Banco BBM in 1992 and worked their way up to become the Director of Commercial Banking eleven years later. In 2011, they were promoted again to Director of Corporate Banking and Products. In 2014, they added the title of Director of Vehicles to their list of responsibilities.

In 2016, Guimarães left Banco BBM to become the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Investor Relations at Banco PAN. Carlos served in this role for three years before being promoted to CEO of Banco Pan SA in 2019. Under their leadership, the bank has seen tremendous growth and profitability. Guimarães is widely respected in the industry and is known for their innovative approach to banking.

Carlos Eduardo Guimarães has a bachelor's degree in economics from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro.
