Jose Alva Cortez

Jose Alva Cortez has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Jose currently serves as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Banco Ripley Perú since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Gerente de Estrategia de Riesgos Banca Personas at Banco Pichincha Perú from May 2021 to December 2022.

Before joining Banco Pichincha Perú, Jose held the position of Gerente de Ciclo de Vida - Riesgos Retail at Scotiabank from November 2018 to April 2021. Jose also served as the Gerente de Riesgos at Banco Cencosud from July 2017 to October 2018.

Jose's work experience includes various roles at Banco Falabella Perú, Banco Falabella Chile, and Banco Falabella.
