Eduardo Linhares has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Eduardo started their career in 1999 as a Credit Manager at American Express Bank, where they were responsible for portfolio management, fraud, and credit strategy. Eduardo then worked at Finaustria (Banco BBA) as a Credit Manager, leading a team and handling portfolio management and credit strategies. At Citibank, they served as a Credit Strategy Manager, involved in the planning, structuring, and launch of Citifinancial in Brazil. Eduardo also participated in a Global Leadership Program and an audit program in Milan. Eduardo then joined Itaú Unibanco, where they held various roles, including Fraud Prevention Head and Credit Acquisition Head. Eduardo led teams and was responsible for implementing fraud protection measures and credit policies. At PayPal, Eduardo held multiple positions, including Risk Director for LatAm, Sr Director of Product Marketing for LatAm, and Sr Director of Global SMB Product Marketing. Eduardo led regional and global teams and was responsible for product marketing, go-to-market strategies, risk management, and fostering partnerships. Eduardo joined Lojas Marisa as the Head of Financial Services at Mbank, where they oversaw various financial services including private label, co-branded credit cards, personal loans, insurance, and prepaid cards. Eduardo developed a branding strategy, launched Mbank on social media, and renewed the visual identity of the stores. Currently, they are working as the General Manager of LATAM at Feedzai. In this role, they are responsible for managing operations and driving growth in the Latin American market. Eduardo recently joined Safra as the Head of Credit Cards.
Eduardo Linhares has a strong education history. In 1990, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a focus on Mechanic from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. Following this, they pursued a Post-Graduation in Business Administration from FAAP - Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado from 1996 to 1997. In 2001, they attended USP - Universidade de São Paulo and earned an MBA with a specialization in Business Finance. In 2011, Eduardo completed two Executive Education Programs: one from Fundação Dom Cabral and another from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.
