Guilherme Amaral Candido

Guilherme Amaral Candido boasts extensive experience in finance, currently serving as Head of Offshore Credit and US Rates Trading at Safra since April 2013, where responsibilities include trade ideas origination and COEs structuring. Previously, Guilherme held positions as Head of Credit and US Rates Trading, Trader, and Structurer at Safra. Prior to this, Guilherme worked as a Quantitative Analyst at Itau BBA, focusing on credit risk metrics and serving as a liaison between corporate sales and IT. Early career experience includes roles in equity and commodities derivatives sales at BNP Paribas and programming at Élin Duxus Consulting. Guilherme holds a Doctorate in Applied Finance and a Master’s degree in Economics from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, along with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from USP - Universidade de São Paulo.
