Pedro Almeida

Pedro Almeida is an AI/ML Software Engineer Specialist at Safra since November 2024 and serves as a Faculty Mentor for the Machine Learning Engineering course at FIAP. Previously, Pedro held the position of Machine Learning/Data Lead at BRQ Digital Solutions, where responsibilities included MLOps culture implementation assessments and technical leadership for Machine Learning projects. Additional experience includes roles as a Senior Data Scientist at Itaú BBA, where Pedro developed ETL processes and SQL queries, and as an AI/ML/Data Engineer in a Stealth AI Startup, focusing on ETL pipeline development. Pedro's career also encompasses analytics and data science positions at various organizations including Nestlé, Santander, and Semantix AI. Pedro's educational background includes a Master's degree in Sustainability from USP and ongoing postgraduate studies in Machine Learning in Production at UFSCar.
