Ignacio Santillana

Ignacio Santillana is an accomplished finance professional currently serving as Executive Director of Corporate Investments & Special Situations at Santander since September 2023. As a Co-Founder of Vatio since July 2022, Santillana has been actively involved in entrepreneurial ventures. Previous experience includes serving as Vice President, Associate, and Analyst at Lazard from April 2016 to June 2022, and as an Analyst in Power, Utilities & Infrastructure and FICC Credit Structuring at UBS Investment Bank from August 2012 to March 2016. Santillana began the career with internships at SGCIB and UBS Investment Bank. Educational credentials include a Sloan Fellow degree from Stanford University Graduate School of Business (July 2022 - June 2023) and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (2008 - 2012). Additionally, Santillana has successfully passed CFA level 1.
