Juan Carlos Sancosmed

Juan Carlos Sancosmed is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and technology within the banking sector. Currently serving as the Group Vice-President for People & Culture - Product & IT Project Management at Banco Santander since June 2012, Juan Carlos has also held the position of HR Corporate Projects & Systems Director. Prior to this role, Juan Carlos was the Chief Operating Officer of the Technology Division at Barclays from November 2005 to June 2012, where responsibilities included head management of several programs and IT planning. Juan Carlos's career began at Accenture as a Manager in the Financial Services area, followed by a role as an Analyst at Institut Cerdà focusing on Information Technology consulting. Academically, Juan Carlos holds an MBA in Economics from Esade and a degree in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
