Rosario Vacas Roldan is an experienced executive with a robust background in global operations and technology within the banking sector. Currently serving as CIO Global Oversight and Group VP at Santander, previous roles include Executive VP and Head of Santander Global Operations, as well as Executive VP and Global Head of Technology and Operations at Santander Consumer Finance Europe. Rosario has also held significant positions as a member of the Board of Directors at Santander Backoffices Globales Mayoristas SA and PSA Financial Services Spain, and as Chairman of the Board of Directors at Banca PSA Italia S.p.A. Educational credentials include a Licentiate degree in Biochemistry and Genetic Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and further studies at The Wharton School.
