Ilia Papas

Ilia Papas is the current CEO and co-founder of Band since 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of a board member in the External Advisory Board of the Computer Science Program at Tufts University starting from July 2019. Ilia also served as the co-founder and CTO of Blue Apron from 2012 to 2019. Before that, they worked as a director and technical architect at Optaros (now MRM) from September 2006 to February 2012, where they led teams in building software for various clients, including the popular private-event retail site RueLaLa.com. Ilia's work experience also includes being a software engineer at Molecular (now Isobar) from September 2004 to August 2006, and a developer at Bullhorn, Inc. from August 2000 to June 2004.

Ilia Papas received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from Tufts University, which was completed between the years 2000 and 2004.
