Sorawit Suriyakarn

Sorawit Suriyakarn has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as CTO and Co-Founder at Band Protocol, a position they have held since July 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Core Developer for Risk and Order Entry at Hudson River Trading in 2017, where they built high-performance trading software with a focus on cryptocurrency exchanges and risk management stacks. In 2016, Sorawit was a Software Engineer in Infrastructure at Quora, and in 2015, they worked as a Software Engineer in Android at Dropbox. Additionally, Sorawit served as a Teaching Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2014 to 2016, where they were responsible for various teaching and lab assistantships. Sorawit also worked as a Software Engineer in Database Engine at MemSQL in 2014.

Sorawit Suriyakarn completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering (6-3) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2013 to 2017. After that, they pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (6-P) also from MIT, from 2016 to 2017.
