Karim Farghaly

Karim Farghaly has a diverse and extensive work experience in the gaming industry. Karim started their career at Interplay Entertainment Corp. in 1998, where they served as the European Sales Director/OEM. Karim was responsible for licensing sales in Europe and developed relationships with major companies and distribution partners.

In 2002, Farghaly joined Aspyr Media, Inc. as the Director of Business Development. Karim created the company's Business Development Division, overseeing alternative distribution channels and strategic partnerships with providers. Karim played a key role in the company's transition to a multi-platform game publisher and achieved significant revenue growth.

In 2009, Farghaly founded Scarab Equity Partners LLC, a consulting and publishing company in the video game industry. The company has facilitated successful ventures and provided licensing and business development services. Scarab Entertainment, under Farghaly's leadership, has developed and published branded properties.

Farghaly currently holds a position at Bandai Namco Entertainment America. Karim started as the Director of Business Development in 2015, eventually progressing to Vice President of Business Development in 2021. Currently, they serve as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development.

Karim Farghaly obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Sciences from The University of Texas at Austin from 1986 to 1989. In addition, they have acquired a certification in Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging from LinkedIn, with the year of completion unspecified.
