Anindya Roy has a strong background in the banking industry. Anindya started their career in 2001 as a Branch Operations Manager at Axis Bank. Anindya then progressed to become the Assistant Vice-President & Compliance Officer in the Compliance Testing Group and later took on the role of AVP, Regional Desk in the North East region, responsible for business banking in seven states.
In 2016, Anindya joined Bandhan Bank as the Deputy Vice President of Branch Operations and Customer Service. Here, they were instrumental in heading the regional operations channel and managing cash management for branches across the bank. Anindya also played a key role in preparing and updating the Branch Operations Manual and handled queries related to branch operations, liaising with different departments for resolution.
In 2019, Anindya was promoted to the position of Vice President of Branch Operations and Customer Service at Bandhan Bank. This role continues to leverage their expertise in managing branch operations and delivering excellent customer service.
Anindya Roy completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and a Chartered Financial Analyst program from Icfai Business School, Delhi from 1995 to 1997. Anindya pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Govt. Engg. College, Jabalpur. Anindya attended Kendriya Vidyalaya from 1980 to 1988 for their schooling.
