Revanasiddappa Melappa has extensive work experience, beginning with their role as a Software Engineer at Jaiprakash Associates Limited in 1991. Revanasiddappa then moved to Capital Trust as an Assistant Manager - Systems in 1994, and then to Jayem Impex Pvt Ltd as Manager - Systems in 1995. In 1998, they joined Polaris Software Labs Ltd. as an Assistant Manager, and then moved to Media Data Systems Pte Ltd as a Senior Consultant in 1999. In 2000, they were a Senior Consultant at PeopleSoft Usa Inc, and then an Asst. Vice President at Polaris Software Lab Ltd in 2001. In 2003, they were a Service Delivery Manager at UBS, and then moved to Oracle India Pvt. Ltd in 2004, where they held the roles of Director, Senior Manager, and Group Manager - Development. Most recently, they have been Director (Engg) at Bandhoo Solutions since 2020.

Revanasiddappa Melappa has an education history that includes a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from Bangalore University, obtained between 1987 and 1989.
