Mette Koch Sonnenborg

Mette Koch Sonnenborg is an experienced project manager and civil engineer with significant expertise in managing large-scale infrastructure projects. Currently serving as Chief Project Manager for Kong Frederik IX's Bridge at Banedanmark since June 2017, Mette has overseen multiple phases of the Ringsted-Femern project, including the construction of new bridges and track works. Mette's previous roles include Senior Project Manager at NIRAS and Contract Manager at Femern A/S, where key responsibilities involved managing tendering processes for major contracts. Mette's career began at NIRAS, progressing from a project engineer to senior advisor, and includes early experience as a consulting engineer. Mette holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark.
