Geoff Martin

Geoff Martin is a seasoned professional in sound design and technology, currently serving as a Tonmeister and Senior Technology Specialist at Bang & Olufsen since 2002, where responsibilities include designing sound performance for loudspeakers and developing audio DSP algorithms. Additionally, Geoff has experience as an Employee Elected Representative on the company's Board of Directors. Previously, Geoff chaired the Conference Policy Committee for the Audio Engineering Society and held various academic roles at McGill University, including Faculty Lecturer and Researcher in the Multichannel Audio Research Laboratory. Other notable experiences include guest faculty at The Banff Centre, freelance recording engineering, and part-time faculty positions at the University of Ottawa. Geoff's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Music from McGill University, complemented by a Master of Music in Sound Recording and a Bachelor of Music from Memorial University.
