Luís Vieira

Luís Vieira is an experienced audio professional currently serving as an Embedded Software Engineer at Bang & Olufsen since September 2023. Previously, Luís worked at Jabra as an Audio Engineer from March 2021 to August 2023, where responsibilities included implementing and optimizing real-time audio DSP features and launching high-quality audio software for various product categories. Additionally, Luís held Product Owner responsibilities, coordinating technical requirements and leading DSP feature implementations across agile teams. Prior roles include Audio Developer positions at Khora Virtual Reality and Henning Larsen, as well as a Research Assistant role at Aalborg University, where a master's thesis on virtual prototyping and spatial audio for hearing aids was completed. Luís also has experience as a Research Collaborator at GN Hearing A/S and held various positions in sound design and technical support earlier in the career, complemented by a Master's degree in Sound and Music Computing from Aalborg University and a Licenciatura in Music Production and Music Technologies from ESMAE.
