M.D. Al-Amin Parvez

Md. Al-Amin Parvez is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in economics and finance. Currently serving as an Assistant Director on Deputation at Bangladesh Bank since November 2020, Md. Al-Amin Parvez is also pursuing an MSc in Economics at The University of Edinburgh. Leadership roles include President of the Bangladesh Economics Olympiad Committee since 2018, guiding the team to the International Economies Olympiad in 2019. Previous academic positions include Lecturer of Development Economics at Dhaka School of Economics and Lecturer of Economics at Stamford University Bangladesh. Additional experience includes a tenure as Research Manager at Bangladesh Peace Observatory and various roles at Trust Bank Limited, including Senior Officer in the Export Department. Md. Al-Amin Parvez holds multiple degrees in economics and business, culminating in a Master of Economics from the University of International Business and Economics and an MBA from the University of Dhaka.
