Shahana Parveen

Shahana Parveen is a highly experienced mental health professional currently serving as an MHPSS specialist at the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society since September 2024. Concurrently, Shahana works as a clinical psychologist at NiHealth and the Nasirullah Psychotherapy Unit, both positions held since July 2022 and March 2022, respectively. Previous roles include serving as a behavioral health coach at Intellect (YC S21) and holding various positions within the Telepsychiatry Research and Innovation Network Ltd and the Military Institute of Science and Technology. Shahana has a solid educational background with an M.Phil in Clinical Psychology and a Master’s degree from the University of Dhaka, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Jagannath University.
