Dylan James

Deputy Director (financial Accounting) at Bangor University

Dylan James has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Dylan started their career as a Senior Auditor at the Audit Commission in 1991 and worked there until 2001. Dylan then joined Waterford Wedgwood Plc as an Internal Audit Manager until 2004. After that, they worked at PwC as a Manager for eight years. In 2011, they had a short-term role as a Financial Controller - Secondment at Carcraft. In 2013, they became the Financial Controller at The Management Centre until 2016. From 2012 to 2017, they held the position of Senior Accountant at Bangor University. Dylan then progressed to become the Head of Financial Accounting until 2022, when they assumed the role of Deputy Director (Financial Accounting). In 2018, Dylan also took on the responsibility of being a Board Member and the Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee at the North Wales Housing Association.

Dylan James attended Leeds Beckett University from 1988 to 1991, where they obtained a BA (Hons) degree in European Finance and Accounting. Dylan also briefly attended HSB Hochschule Bremen - City University of Applied Sciences in 1990, where they earned a Diplom Betriebswirt degree in Europaische Finanz und Rechnungswesen.
