Jan Shone

Jan Shone serves as the Marketing and Network Manager for Bangor University’s Menter Iontach Nua project since March 2014. Responsibilities include leading marketing efforts for Master classes targeting senior leaders in the Social Enterprise sector across Wales, enhancing participation via social media, and fostering partnerships with social enterprises in Wales, the UK, and Ireland. Previously, Jan worked as a Programme Coordinator at Business in the Community from December 2011 to February 2014, where duties involved managing an Interreg funded project to connect business mentors with social enterprises, as well as organizing focus groups and evaluating funding programs. Prior experience also includes a marketing role at Wrexham County Borough Council from December 2008 to July 2011, focusing on promoting services and sourcing volunteer opportunities for unemployed youth. Jan's educational background includes attendance at Ysgol Y Moelwyn from 1982 to 1987.
