David Garcia M.Ed. has over 13 years of experience in the education field. David is currently serving as the Director of Operations at BANGS ISD, where they lead and works with a Professional Learning committee to create and implement course materials, lesson plans, and assessments. Prior to this role, they were an Education Professional/Instructional Design at BANGS ISD, where they served as the History Department Chair and developed lesson plans and other course materials. Before joining BANGS ISD, David worked as the Dean of Students/Campus Athletic Coordinator at BROWNWOOD ISD, where they assisted with school-wide climate and organization, administered consequences/interventions for discipline issues, and coordinated middle school athletics. David also has experience in instructional design and education professional roles at San Saba ISD, Santa Anna ISD, and Natalia ISD, where they developed and implemented curriculum, provided assessment analysis to administration, and mentored students. Additionally, at Natalia ISD, they implemented the physical education curriculum and wrote grant proposals for equipment.

David Garcia M.Ed. completed their Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from the University of North Texas in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in 2005. In addition, they hold various certifications from the Texas Education Agency, including a Career And Professional Permits Teacher/Instructor certification, a Composite Social Studies Certificate 8-12, a General Education 4-8 Education Certificate, and a Teacher Of Physical Education - Comprehensive K-12 certification.
