Rupert Dobson

Originally from the UK, Rupert is a BAFTA Nominated Veteran Producer and Development Exec who has worked across multiple genres and platforms.

As SVP of Development, he is focused on creating original entertainment formats for the Broadcast Networks and Premium Streaming Platforms.

Prior to joining Bunim/Murray, Rupert served as Head of Development at A. Smith & Co, where he spearheaded the creation of the Titan Games for NBC and Mental Samurai for Fox along with many others. He previously served as VP of Programming & Development at Base Productions, where he developed and produced series such as Fact or Faked, Haunted Highway, Legend Quest, Deep South Paranormal, Stuntbusters and Human Wrecking Balls.

Rupert began his career in the UK producing a range of shows for Twofour Broadcast.

He graduated from Southampton Solent University with A bachelor’s in political science
