Mouna Berrada has extensive experience in financial regulation and oversight, currently serving as the head of the Financial Market Infrastructures oversight, Payment System, and Financial Inclusion department at Bank Al-Maghrib since August 2016. Responsibilities include oversight of critical financial market infrastructures such as RTGS and retail payment systems, conducting onsite controls, issuing reports with recommendations, and regulatory monitoring on emerging topics like instant payments and fintech. Prior to this role, Mouna worked at the Autorité Marocaine du Marché des Capitaux, focusing on the supervision of OPCVM activities and compliance with prudential regulations, among other roles. Experience also includes an analyst position at Attijariwafa bank and a contract role as a Risk Analyst at Tate & Lyle. Mouna holds a Master's degree in International Money and Banking from the University of Birmingham and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Groupe ISCAE.
