Rajib M.D. Rashidul Kabir

Rajib Md. Rashidul Kabir is an accomplished risk management professional with extensive experience in the banking sector. Currently serving as Chief Risk Officer at Bank Asia Limited since January 2013, Rajib ensures high standards across all aspects of Enterprise Wide Risk Management, advocating for optimal risk-adjusted returns and facilitating the Board in determining risk limits. Previously, Rajib worked as AVP & Senior Manager at The City Bank Ltd from May 2009 to December 2012, where responsibilities included designing an internal client rating model in line with Basel II and developing a duration gap calculation model. Rajib began a career at Citi from September 2006 to April 2009, playing a crucial role in establishing the custody operation in Bangladesh. Educational qualifications include an MBA in International Business from Victoria University and a Master of Applied Finance from Monash University.
