Carol Ayat Boukather

Carol Ayat Boukather is an experienced finance professional with a focus on corporate finance, project finance, and specialized lending, currently serving as the Head of Large Corporates and Specialized Lending at Bank Audi since October 2011. Boukather founded the bank's energy department, overseeing the financing of innovative independent power producer projects in both renewable and conventional energy. Prior to this role, Boukather managed a multi-sector project finance portfolio as Head of Unit in Corporate Banking. Boukather has also held the position of Senior Associate at Goldman Sachs, where substantial transactions exceeding $24 billion were analyzed. Additionally, Boukather has been a Senior Fellow at the Issam Fares Institute for Public Policy and International Affairs. Boukather holds a Master's degree in Financial Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Economics, both from the American University of Beirut.
