Setio Darmawan

Setio Darmawan has extensive work experience in the field of Information Technology and Operations. Setio currently holds the position of Director of IT and Operations at CTBC Bank Corp. (Indonesia) since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Technology & Operations at the same company.

Before joining CTBC Bank Corp., Setio worked at UOB as the Executive Director, Technology & Operations from March 2020 to February 2022 and also held the position of Executive Director, Group Technology and Operations from March 2018 to February 2020.

Their professional journey began at Citi, where they completed an Internship Project in July and August 1999. Setio then held various positions at AIG as a Senior Business Analyst (Assistant Manager) from October 2004 to October 2005. Following this, they worked at GE Money as an IT Project Manager from October 2005 to September 2007.

Setio's career at HSBC spanned over a decade, where they held multiple roles. Setio served as the Chief Information Officer from July 2015 to February 2018 and as the SVP / Head of Software Delivery from September 2014 to June 2015. Prior to this, they held the position of IT Business Management, Global Banking and Market, Asia Pacific from April 2012 to August 2014. Setio also served as the Vice President IT Project Management from May 2011 to April 2012 and Assistant Vice President IT Project Management from May 2009 to April 2011. Their career at HSBC began as an IT Development Manager from September 2007 to April 2009.

Setio Darmawan obtained a BSc in Informatics Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung, where they studied from 1996 to 2000.
