Phil Gatens

Phil Gatens has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Phil started their career in 1990 as the Credit Inspection/Audit Manager at Bank of Melbourne, where they worked until 1998. In 2002, they joined VTCU as the Audit and Compliance Manager, and stayed there until 2007. Phil then joined Victoria Teachers Mutual Bank as an Audit Manager in 2007. In 2013, they took on the role of Director at a charitable organization. Currently, they are the Head of Audit at Bank First, a position they have held since June 2018.

Phil Gatens has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from VUT and a Graduate Diploma in Business Information Systems from RMIT.
