Italo Borssatto is an experienced technology and finance professional with a strong focus on decentralized identity solutions and blockchain technologies. Currently serving as an Adviser at the Bank for International Settlements in the BIS Innovation Hub Hong Kong Center, Italo applies decentralized technologies in finance. Previously, Italo held several key roles at Consensys, including Decentralized Identity Evangelist and Senior Protocol Engineer, contributing to the development of the Veramo framework and promoting decentralized identity adoption. As a co-founder of Serto, Italo played a significant role in facilitating the use of decentralized identities and verifiable credentials. A history of leadership spans roles as CTO and Partner at Mais Fácil Administradora de Cartões de Crédito Ltda., founder of VELIS CRM, and positions at companies including Synos Technologies and Unitech. Italo Borssatto earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais.
