Liam Maxwell

Liam Maxwell is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in credit risk management, currently serving as a Senior Credit Risk Manager at the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) since 2009, where previous roles included Senior Risk Analyst and Credit Risk Analyst. Prior to this, Liam held various positions at Global Treasury Credit within AIB Capital Markets from 1998 to 2009, advancing from Graduate Bank Official to Credit Analyst and eventually to Credit Risk Manager. Academic qualifications include a Masters in Economic Science from the University of Galway, completed in 1998, and a Bachelor of Commerce, also from the University of Galway, obtained in 1997.
