Jakub Zaleski is an Assistant Professor at Uczelnia Vistula since October 2023 and serves as an Expert at the Bankowy Fundusz Gwarancyjny, where responsibilities include establishing the CCP resolution plan framework. Previously, Jakub held various positions at the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, culminating in the role of Chief Specialist in the Capital Market Infrastructure Unit, where oversight included market infrastructures and participation in multiple European supervisory committees. Additional experience includes roles at Deloitte Poland as a Consultant and internships within the European Parliament, complemented by an extensive educational background with a PhD in Applied Economics and dual Master’s degrees in Finance and Accounting, and Law.
