An operating foundation, rather than a funding organization, which considers itself an engine of reform and a promoter of social change toward a sustainable society. It aims to identify social challenges and problems early on and to develop and implement model solutions. Its programme carries out think-tanking activities and policy consultancy which focus on the future of the European Union and its relations with neighbouring regions.
