Mohammad Sohail Amjad

Mohammad Sohail Amjad is an experienced professional in the banking sector with a strong background in credit administration and specialized lending. Currently serving as the Manager of the Credit Administration Department at BankIslami Pakistan Limited since April 2022, Mohammad supervises credit functions for the Auto Finance and Mortgage segments. Prior to this role, Mohammad held positions at Samba Financial Group as an AGM/Senior Agency Officer for Syndication Loans, managing a specialized lending portfolio within corporate banking from June 2009 to February 2021. Mohammad also served as the Regional Head for Credit Administration at United Bank Limited, overseeing compliance and review of credit proposals between March 2004 and June 2009. Earlier experience includes a significant role at ABN Amro Bank N.V. as the Manager of the Documentation Unit, where foundational skills in credit administration were developed from the bank's inception of corporate and consumer operations.
