Michel Joossens is a seasoned information security professional and software architect with extensive experience in the banking sector. Currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at Bank . Banque Van Breda since August 2004, Michel has transitioned from part-time roles to focus solely on enhancing the bank's information security maturity, revising security policies, and establishing governance frameworks. Prior roles include Team Lead Software Architecture, overseeing a team of architects and developers, and Software Architect, where Michel contributed to critical banking operations and managed project releases. Previous experience includes a position as a Software Architect at CTG Belgium, where Michel began a career as an IT consultant following a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Antwerp.
