Putut Eko Bayuseno

Independent Commissioner at Maybank Indonesia

Putut Eko Bayuseno was appointed as Independent Commissioner based on the resolution of the Maybank Indonesia AGMS on March 26, 2021. He has more than 20 years of experience in the Indonesian National Police.

He graduated from the Indonesian Military Academy in 1984 and holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Bhayangkara University, Surabaya, East Java.

Putut Eko Bayuseno started his career in 1995 and he has various experiences in the Indonesian National Police. Some of his work experiences include: as an adjutant to the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono in the period from 2004 to 2009, then he served as Deputy Head of the Regional Police (Wakapolda Metro Jaya) until 2011. His career continued to become Kapolda Banten in 2011 and after that, he was appointed Kapolda West Java until 2012. In 2012 to 2014, Putut Eko Bayuseno was appointed Kapolda Metro Jaya. After becoming the Chief of the Metro Jaya Police, from 2014 to 2017 he became the Head of the Security Maintenance Agency - National Police of the Republic of Indonesia. Next, from 2017 to 2019, he served as the Chief Executive of the Sweeping Illegal Charges Task Force - Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs and in the same period he also served as Inspector of General Supervision - National Police of the Republic of Indonesia. The last position he held was as an advisor at Hyundai Indonesia (2019).

He currently serves as a member of the Board of Commissioners at PT Agincourt Resources.
