Asanka Lellwala is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in trade finance and corporate banking. Currently serving as the Unit Head of FI Trade Sales & STF at Bank Muscat since July 2023, Lellwala previously held the position of Assistant Relationship Manager for Trade Finance Sales at Doha Bank from September 2019 to June 2023. Additional experience includes managerial roles at DFCC Bank PLC and Sampath Bank, where leadership was demonstrated from August 2018 to September 2019 and January 2004 to August 2018, respectively. Lellwala's educational qualifications encompass a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance from the Asian Institute of Technology, a Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialist from LIBF, and diplomas from the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka and the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
