Shakir al Ansari

Shakir Al Ansari currently serves as the Head of Cyber Security Investigation and Response at Bank Muscat, a position held since November 2020, where responsibilities include overseeing incident detection, analysis, and containment. Prior to this role, Shakir held various positions at Oman Airports Management Company, including Platform and Servers Manager and Microsoft Platform Supervisor, from September 2016 to November 2020 and January 2014 to August 2016, respectively. Earlier experience includes roles as Senior Network and Server Administrator at The Wave, Muscat, and IT Coordinator at Qatar National Bank. Shakir began the professional career as a Network Analyst at Oman International Bank. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in IT from the University of Liverpool and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from NMAMIT, India.
