Haikal Cheong

Haikal Cheong is an accomplished professional with a background in finance, analytics, and education. Currently serving as a Manager at OCBC since June 2021, Haikal leads end-to-end training, development, and deployment of machine learning scoring models for the unsecured credit portfolio. Previously, as a Management Associate in Group Portfolio Analytics & Reporting within Group Risk Management, significant contributions were made to risk assessment processes. Haikal's experience as a Teaching Assistant at the National University of Singapore involved developing educational content that impacted 800 students and facilitating tutorials for 50 students. An internship at Aon focused on reinsurance, while an earlier role at EY involved assisting with employment issues for expatriates, receiving an 'A' grade for performance.
