Simon Chong

Simon Chong is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in treasury, financial control, and asset management. Currently serving as the Managing Director and Head of Treasury Financial Control and Advisory at OCBC since January 2022, Simon leads a team focused on developing surveillance controls for Global Markets trading. Previous roles include Director at CIMB-Principal Asset Management, where leadership was provided for regional finance teams in Southeast Asia, and Executive Director at United Overseas Bank, overseeing a large operations team across multiple banking functions. Simon's experience spans various institutions including Hong Leong Bank, OSK Investment Bank, Deutsche Bank, and KPMG, with expertise in areas such as regulatory reporting, budgeting, and financial management.
